This was done with the PaintBook App on my iPod Touch (I used a photo for reference).

My shortish review of Paintbook is:
Cons: I don't like Paintbook's palette, it doesn't have an eyedropper, there's undo but no redo, and all the line types have a hard edge.

Pros: Very high resolution for an IDraw app (This drawing is 1706X2048), you can change the size of the 'paper', you can turn the 'paper' in addition to zooming, and there are two kinds of opacity - one where you can lighten a dark color, ie like transparent acrylics, and another where you can only darken, ie watercolors. The latter allows me to 'paint' washes that overlap my black lines without affecting the lines themselves.

After we did an early morning TJs run together, Ann dropped me off at the Embarcadero and I took BART to work.

I was on 10 separate aircraft on this trip, ranging from super-sized cross-Pacific jumbo jets to 15 passenger 2-prop mountain planes. In every case the flight was on time, all connections were made, and my baggage arrived intact. Kudos to ANA, Thai Air and Nok Air.

Pai turned out to be an over-run hippy town filled beyond capacity but the flight there in this little 15-seater, 2-prop plane was great. It was open cockpit and no overhead bins or stewardesses. But it was a clear, still, day and we had great views of the mountains.

Flying to LA

Once again, I'm hoping to turn myself into a plane instead of having to board one, this time to fly to LA. In keeping with the rest of the week, this is another LHBD - Left-Handed Blind Drawing. I hope to post from LA, but if not, I'll catch up on return - of course I'll still be drawing every day.
